SEE IT TO BELIEVE IT: NHL player pulls out own tooth mid-game, returns to ice to help team win

Hockey players have a certain kind of reputation.

Sunday night St Louis Blues forward Ryan Reaves reinforced that reputation by pulling out one of his own teeth and then returning to the ice.

Yes, you read that correctly.

From Sporting News:

Reaves took a big hit in the second period from Blackhawks defenseman Brent Seabrook, his face sent crashing directly into the glass. Instead of crying uncontrollably and asking for painkillers like many normal humans would, Reaves calmly pulled out his own tooth on the bench because hockey.

Reaves returned to the game and the Blues beat the Blackhawks 2-1.
