Shelton man arrested for allegedly trading child porn

SHELTON, Wash. -- The Washington State Patrol's Missing and Exploited Children Task Force on Friday arrested a 65-year-old man who police say was trading child pornography online with undercover cops.

Detectives arrested 65-year-old Arthur Bruno after a search of his home.

Neighbors in the tight-knit community of Shelton were shocked to see undercover police lined up along their streets.

"You never expect it to be a neighbor, ever," resident Mark Lehman said. "They look like normal people, wave when I walk by, say hello ... it's scary."

Police claim they found hundreds of child porn images on a computer in Bruno’s trailer.

"It is a large amount ... at least hundreds," Washington State Patrol Sgt. Carlos Rodriguez said. "That forensic process is still going" on.

Rodriguez said the task force is extremely busy with cases like this -- it’s their third arrest so far in only a week.

Bruno was booked into the Mason County Jail, police said, but he has not yet been charged.
