U.S. Marshals, DOC on hunt for missing High-Violent Offender, woman accused of helping him escape in Mason County

WANTED IN MASON COUNTY -- Department of Corrections officers in the Southwest Community Response Unit and the U.S. Marshals Pacific Northwest Violent Offender Task Force in Mason County are asking for help finding a man accused of attacking his girlfriend. Officers say David Reading crashed his motorcycle after driving through a yard in Shelton and then took off into the woods when they tried to arrest him. They think Tonya League picked him up and helped him escape. She has a Department of Corrections warrant after being convicted of illegal drugs.

Reading is a High Violent Offender known to carry firearms. His criminal history includes Arson, Assault, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Possession of a Stolen Firearm, Robbery, Stolen Property Trafficking, Theft, Assault, Domestic Violence, Obstruction, Possession Drug Paraphernalia and Eluding.
