WATCH: Driver jumps out of car, stops little boy from running into traffic

FEDERAL WAY -- A driver in Federal Way saved a 4-year-old boy from running into a busy intersection. Police released a video of the incident to try to identify the man to "personally thank him for his quick action."

The video provided by the Federal Way Police Department shows the driver stopping his car, jumping out and running to stop the boy from running into the intersection at 9th Avenue South and Dash Point Road.

The incident occurred at about 4 p.m. Thursday.

The video could not be enhanced to view the license plate, police said.

But all turned out well. The police tweeted this late Friday night:
