Seahawks awarded 4 more picks for total of 11 in NFL Draft
RENTON, Wash. — The NFL on Monday awarded the Seattle Seahawks four compensatory draft picks, giving the team a total of 11 selections in the April 30-May 2 draft.
Seattle Seahawks compensatory picks: 4th round (134), 5th round (170), 6th round (209), 6th round (214)
Seattle received the four compensatory picks for losing wide receiver Golden Tate, defensive tackle Clinton McDonald, tackle Breno Giacomini and cornerback Brandon Browner in 2014 free agency.
The four additional picks brings Seattle’s total number of selections to 11, tied for the most under Schneider and head coach Pete Carroll with the 2013 draft.
The Hawks, however, don’t have a first-round pick in the 2015 draft after dealing it away as part of the trade that brought in All-Pro New Orleans Saints tight end Jimmy Graham to Seattle.
