EDGEWOOD, Fla. -- Members of the Myakka Pines Golf Club in Edgewood posted these photos on the club's Facebook page of a huge, dinosaur-looking alligator waddling across the course last week.  And the club swears they're real.

"Our alligator pictures taken by Dick Huber and Bill Susie have gone viral ... Lots of people think the pic is photo shopped....Nope! We just grown 'em big in these parts!!" the golf club wrote on the Facebook page.

In addition, the club wrote, "So far we've gotten 528,286 views of the picture and gained 140 new 'likes' on our face book page." It said it had gotten calls from CNN, The Washington Post, The New York Times and other media outlets.

The club says the monster alligator has lived at the golf course for some time and moves from pond to pond, without harming anyone.
