Man who jumped from moving pickup on I-5 onramp dies

FIFE, Wash. (AP) — A man who jumped out of a moving pickup on an Interstate 5 onramp in Fife has died of his injuries.

The News Tribune reports the 34-year-old Spokane man was a passenger in a truck entering the freeway when he jumped out of the vehicle.

The State Patrol says he was transported to St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma. A family member contacted The News Tribune on Sunday to say that the man died Saturday night.
