2 dead, 1 injured in shooting in Everett home; suspect taken into custody

EVERETT -- Two people were killed and another person was injured in a shooting in a home in Everett Friday night, police said.  A suspect was taken into custody.

The crime took place at a house in the 2400 block of 75th Street Southeast.

Everett police provided scant details.

Just after 7 p.m. Friday, officers responded to the house on the report that multiple people had been shot.

"While officers were at the residence, another report was received that a male, who was possibly involved in the shooting, was at Forest Park. Officers responded to Forest Park and the male was detained without incident," Everett police said.

Later, the Everett police confirmed that two people were killed in the house and another person was injured and rushed to the hospital.

The Everett Herald reported that the same house has been the scene of two homicides since 2008. In December, it was raided by the local auto theft task force.
