SEATTLE — Time for the 18th annual Great Weekend Bird Count.

The Audubon Society wants you to spend 15 minutes in your backyard or a nearby park counting the types and varieties of birds.

The event runs Friday, Saturday & Sunday. To find out more details– you’ll want to check out their website Birdcount.org.

Changing migration and nesting patterns can tell bird and even climate scientists a lot– so you’ll be not only getting out in the nice weather this weekend– you’ll be having fun with the family for science.
