Phoenix, AZ — Just how well do you know your Facebook friends, or your regular friends, for that matter?

A Cordes Junction woman said a man she has known since high school downloaded innocent pictures of her 9-year-old daughter and posted them to a child porn site.

“He was one of my closet friends,” Ashley Williams said.

She said 32-year-old Christopher Madill, of Phoenix, was someone she trusted – right up until his arrest Jan. 23.

“I got a phone call from Homeland Security,” Williams explained.

She said investigators told her Madill had swiped 83 pictures of her daughter from her Facebook page and posted them to a Russian child porn site being monitored by DHS.

“He had told everybody that he was her father and that he got to molest her every single day,” Williams said. “And, he was using her pictures to trade with other fathers that are on this website that molest their children. He took the innocence and made it something disgusting.”

She said the betrayal and anger she feels for Madill, who has been indicted on five counts of sexual exploitation of a minor by a Maricopa County grand jury, is beyond words.

“I just hope that he hasn’t acted on any of his desires, because all of our friends that we used to hang out with, they all have children,” Williams said. “What I want to happen to him, is not really nice. But, I want the justice system. I want him to stay in jail.”

Madill, who refused a jailhouse interview with CBS 5 News, is being held on $100,000 bond at the Lower Buckeye Jail in Phoenix.

He is scheduled to be arraigned Feb. 9.

Closet friend? If she’s known him since high school he isn’t a closet friend. If he was her closest friend then this is another example of just how much you should never trust anyone. ANYONE.

I worked with Chris Madill for years. I never had any idea that he was like this. Working with him was always fun, because he was friendly. I can’t believe that I hung out with outside of work, been in his house around his family and friends. I am completely disgusted. My children are boys, and I am still waiting to hear back from the police if he took pictures from my Facebook. I don’t post pictures of my children naked, because I was always aware that predators out there could find them. I guess nothing is safe!

So was the child naked? If so, the mom who posted to facebook is every bit as guilty as he is. If not, then no laws were broken by anyone.

If they were naked, she would’ve been charged. But she has not. Pedophyles don’t look at only naked pictures. Why do you think they catch them in public places taking pictures of kids?
