Seahawks to fly home today, but little route access available for fans

SEATTLE -- The Seahawks are slated to fly home Monday afternoon, but fans will have a tough time catching a glimpse of their favorite team.

The Seahawks are slated to land at Sea-Tac Airport at 3:30 p.m. Monday. Q13 FOX News will be on hand to bring you the latest coverage, and live video of the return.

However, airport officials said there will be no access for fans to view the aircraft or team arrival. The team will board buses on the ramp and no team members will go through any part of the terminal, airport officials said. Due to safety concerns, the buses will not travel down 188th Street on their exit.

The route the team will take back to the Virginia Mason Athletic Center was not immediately known.

Last year, year as many as 700,000 people flooded the streets for a victory parade following a victory in the Super Bowl. So far, no plans for a celebratory parade for the NFC Champions have been released by the Seahawks.

Share your message for the team below and we'll try to share as many as we can on-air throughout the day.
