Local high school looks right at Jimmy Fallon, issues HUGE challenge (VIDEO)

PORT ORCHARD, Washington –  Talk show host Jimmy Fallon may think he’s funny, but a teen acting troupe in Kitsap County thinks they can be funnier and they want the chance to prove it.

The South Kitsap High School Acting Ensemble has issued a video challenge aimed squarely at the late night host.

“Basically what we’re saying right now James is that I’m challenging you, ok?!  Bring it,” said theatre teacher Scott Yingling in the video posted to YouTube.

In the video Yingling laid out the rules for the dual.

“I got my crew and you can get anybody you want and we challenge you to an improv off,” said Yingling.  “You can come to my house or we can go to your house.  Either way you’re gonna lose.”

The school’s acting ensemble has a long and storied history in the region stretching back to its founding in the early 90s.  Actors from the troupe have gone on to appear in movies, television shows and be to be seen on the professional stage.  Yingling himself is an acting ensemble alum.

Fallon has made a name for his late night talk show by using social media and YouTube in extremely savvy ways.  The high school actors are hoping their social media campaign helps their video reach Fallon and his team.

“We need everyone to contact him over social media to see if he will meet the challenge. Bring it James!”

FULL DISCLOSUREI too am an alum of South Kitsap High School Acting Ensemble and believe wholeheartedly the troupe could wipe the floor with Fallon and any crew of his choosing.
