Speeding driver slams into 'oversized load' in Milton

MILTON - Milton Police are investigating why a speeding car slammed into a slow moving 'oversized load' convoy in Milton Tuesday night. Milton Police told Q13 FOX News that the car slammed into a pilot vehicle of a convoy that was carrying a large transformer around 11: 15 p.m.

The suspect car hit the pilot car in the 7600 block of Pacific Highway East near South 373rd St and bounced off, police said. The driver, who is being investigated for possible DUI, then crashed into the back of a semi-truck.

Police reported that the driver of the causing vehicle may have suffered a broken arm. The drivers of the pilot car and semi-truck were not injured.

The Washington State Patrol is investigating whether the causing driver was under the influence, causing the collision.
