Man sentenced to nearly 70 years in fatal Federal Way shooting

SEATTLE (AP) — A 23-year-old man has been sentenced to nearly 70 years in prison for a shooting outside a Federal Way bar in 2012 that killed one man and wounded four other people, the King County Prosecutor's Office said Wednesday.

The Seattle Times reports (http://is.gd/VsRVYn ) that Kenneth M. Sutton Jr. was convicted last month of second-degree murder, four counts of assault and unlawful possession of a firearm. He was sentenced Wednesday.

Court records show Sutton and another young man had gotten into an argument outside Johnny's Famous Grill and Bar early on June 27, 2012, when Sutton pulled a handgun from his waistband and started shooting.

Cloise Young of Kent died at the scene. Two men and two women were wounded.
