TACOMA -- A woman shot dead her boyfriend while he was sleeping in their home in Graham Tuesday and then drove their truck to a church in Tacoma, where she shot and killed herself, the Pierce County Sheriff's Department said.

Detective Ed Troyer said the woman shot her boyfriend in the neck while he was in their home in the 23800 block of 52nd Avenue East in Graham sometime Tuesday morning.

She then fled in the couple's truck. Detectives later found the truck parked at the Champions Center Church in Tacoma. She was found dead inside the truck of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, Troyer said.
