Deputies: Man stuck camera underneath bathroom stall to record boy at library

PUYALLUP -- A 36-year-old man is charged with voyeurism after allegedly sticking an iPhone under a private bathroom stall and recording a 16-year-old boy.

Pierce County Sheriff's Deputies responded Monday to calls of an alleged sex crime at the South Hill Library. According to deputies, a 16-year-old boy was using a private bathroom stall when he saw an iPhone appear under the door. The boy quickly exited the stall, police said, and waited for the suspect to walk out of the stall and into the library.

From there, the victim called police and provided a license plate number of the car the suspect got into. Deputies ran the plate, and contacted the suspect Kritopher Knab at his home. Knab allegedly admitted to videotaping the boy, and he was arrested.

Knab has recorded three or four more videos of people at the library in the past. Knab allegedly told police the victims could have inadvertently been minors.

Knab was arrested and appeared in court Tuesday.
