Dave Matthews to raise the 12 flag on Space Needle Thursday morning

SEATTLE — The Space Needle will fly a 12 flag this week in celebration of the Seahawks and their pursuit of a second consecutive Super Bowl title, it was announced Monday.

The flag will be raised by Grammy-award winning musician and Seahawks fan Dave Matthews at 9 a.m. Thursday and will remain up through the weekend.

The Seahawks face the New England Patriots at 3:30 p.m. Sunday in the Super Bowl being held this year in Glendale, Ariz.
