Area school locked down during search for naked man on the run
YELM, Wash. (AP) — Yelm High School was locked down for about a half-hour Monday morning as a precaution while Thurston County deputies chased down a naked man who was on the run in the area.
The 22-year-old man had just gotten out of the shower when deputies tried to grab him for violating a no-contact order at his mother's home.
The Olympian reports a police dog tracked him back to the same house where he was arrested.
The high school is about a mile away. Doors were locked with students held in class until the lockdown was lifted.
