WATCH: Carroll on ‘really solid week’ of practices, but don’t ask him about ‘franchise’ QBs

RENTON, Wash. — Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said Friday the team had a “really solid week” of practices. “It makes us feel good going into the weekend.”

But when asked at Friday’s news conference about quarterback Russell Wilson and ‘franchise quarterbacks,’ Carroll said, “I don’t have a definition for franchise quarterback — I’ve never used that phrase” at any time.

But, of course, he went on to praise Wilson’s abilities at the position.
