SEATAC, Wash. — The driver of a stolen car fleeing a deputy collided with another vehicle in the SeaTac area, injuring the other driver, before the thief fled on foot Friday night, the King County Sheriff’s Office said.

Deputies are still looking for the man.

The sheriff’s office said the incident began when a SeaTac deputy at about 5:30 p.m. Friday attempted to stop a Honda that had been reported stolen, but the driver sped off on South 200th Street from International Boulevard.

During the chase, the driver of the stolen car collided with another vehicle at South 200th and 8th Avenue. The suspect fled on foot.

The car he hit was occupied by a man and two children. The children were injured, but the man, believed to be the children’s father, had serious injuries and was rushed to the hospital, the sheriff’s office said.

A K9 unit tried to track the suspect, but could not find the man. There is no physical description of the suspect.
