Kurt Madsen: High-Violent Offender with severe anti-government, authority issues wanted after recent release from mental hospital

 

FUGITIVE WANTED June 30, 2017 --
High-Violent Offender, Kurt Madsen, is wanted again.

He's breaking probation with the Department of Corrections after being recently released from Western State Hospital and failing to report to DOC officers like he's been ordered to.

DOC officers think he could be hiding in Kent or around Pioneer Square in downtown Seattle.

The Department of Corrections says numerous anonymous tips from Washington's Most Wanted viewers led DOC Northwest Community Response Unit and Seattle police to the arrest of Kurt Madsen on Thursday.

The Department of Corrections says High-Violent Offender, Kurt Madsen, has severe anti-government and authority issues.

He uses the fake name "Troy."

He is on the run after breaking probation for Assault 2 (Intentional and Causes Substantial Bodily Harm).

He has brown hair, blue eyes, is 5’10 and weighs 180 lbs.

In Sept of 2011, Madsen got into a fight with a restaurant worker in Kent, beating him and hitting him in the face with a bicycle chain. Witnesses described the sound made by the impact of the lock to the victim's face as a “rock hitting a brick wall.” Madsen told police the man he injured had attacked him.
