3 teens killed in car crash on Kitsap Peninsula

SEABECK, Wash. -- Three teens were killed on Sunday morning after a rollover crash on a Kitsap County road.

A fourth teen, the driver, was arrested after being treated for minor injuries.

Kitsap County Deputy Scott Wilson said that the crash was discovered around 3:15 a.m. on Seabeck-Holly Road NW, about a mile south of Seabeck in western Kitsap County. Deputies found the car, a 1996 Toyota Corolla, on its top in a drainage ditch alongside the road.

The three passengers in the car died at the scene, according to Wilson.

The Kitsap County Sheriff's Office says the teens had been at a party together before the crash. The deceased were identified as 18-year-old Luther James Wiggins-Stoudermire, 16-year-old Kassidy Miranda Clark and 14-year-old Jenna M. Farley. All three were from Bremerton.

A fourth teen, the 17-year-old driver, was taken to Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton for treatment. After he was released, he was arrested and taken to the Kitsap County Juvenile Detention Facility in Port Orchard. Wilson said the teen was booked on three counts of vehicular homicide.

Investigators are determining whether speed was a factor in the crash. Wilson said that a search warrant was granted and a blood draw done on the driver to see if drugs and/or alcohol were in his system. Results of that blood test are expected back in a few weeks.

The road was closed for hours as the investigation was taking place. Seabeck-Holly Road has been reopened, Wilson said.

Wilson said that anyone who may have witnessed the crash or might have more information is being asked to contact Deputy Andrew Aman at 360-337-4634.

This is a developing story. More information as it becomes available.
