Pearl Jam guitarist to raise 12 Flag above Seattle

SEATTLE -- It's that time of year again, 12s. Are you wearing your blue, blazing your flag and sporting your lucky slippers?

The Space Needle will fly a 12 Flag in celebration of the Seahawks playoff game against the Carolina Panthers Saturday at 5:15 p.m. on Q13 FOX.

The flag will be raised at 9 a.m. Friday and remain until Sunday.

Pearl Jam lead guitarist Mike McCready will hoist the flag in a ceremony high atop the Space Needle, officials said.

It is not yet known who will raise t the flag before Saturday's match-up.
