Pilfering package thieves persist in Snohomish County

GRANITE FALLS, Wash. -- Christmas might be over but some package thieves are still on the loose with your gifts.

A Granite Falls man thinks his cameras might be able to put at least one of them behind bars.

The theft happened in a rural, out-of-the-way neighborhood and the victim thinks the thief must have trailed the delivery truck.

“I don’t even want the stuff back,” said homeowner Brian Lamkin, “I want to catch you.”

It happened three days before Christmas. Brian said a thief swiped all the presents sent from his father-in-law.

“I checked the cameras. Sure enough, they delivered it and 20 minutes later she pulls up and she grabs the package,” he said.

Brian hopes his video will help put the larcenous lady behind bars.

“Probably the way she walks, I guess her face,” he said, “You can kind of see her face in the video. The vehicle, it’s a pretty distinct vehicle.”

Brian said investigators are looking to see if the same woman caught on his cameras is connected to other cases in the area.
