BAKER CITY, Ore. (AP) — Baker City police say a woman accused of plotting the killing of her former boyfriend offered an undercover officer $80 as a down payment and then to pay for the hit with $1,000 from her income tax refund.

The Baker City Herald (http://bit.ly/1vGQIX7) reports police got the offer last week in a call to 24-year-old Emily Alicia Munsell. She’s charged with solicitation to commit murder. She hasn’t entered a plea.

A police report says a relative of Munsell told them she was looking for help in killing the former boyfriend, who fathered her son.

The paper reports Munsell secured, and then dismissed, a restraining order against the man saying he’d pointed a gun at her. This month, a judge denied her request to end his parental time with the son.
