Toymaker forced to change new Play-Doh set after wave of parent complaints (PHOTOS)

PAWTUCKET, Rhode Island -- Toymaker Hasbro has been getting feedback from some red-faced parents after their kids opened the new Play-Doh Cake Mountain play sets only to ask some uncomfortable questions.

"We have heard some consumer feedback about the extruder tool in the Play-Doh Cake Mountain play set and are in the process of updating all future Play-Doh products with a different tool," said the company in a statement to KTUL-TV.

The company is referring to a growing number of parents who have taken to Facebook and Twitter to complain that a piece of the play set resembles a part of the male anatomy a little too closely.

"It's pretty phallic,” said one parent to KTUL-TV. “It's a pretty phallic cake decorating piece.”

Some parents are scratching their head at the controversy saying they doubt any child would make the connection.

Still the company says any customer who purchased the toy can call for a replacement part by calling 800-327-8264.
