SEATTLE —The few remaining Seahawks home playoff tickets sold out online within minutes Tuesday morning. Fans quickly snatched up the only face-value tickets available to the public.

“I was anticipating trying for five minutes and not getting seats,” said fan Sarah Luczyk.

After several attempts, Luczyk purchased two tickets for nearly $350. She plans on going to the game with her husband.

“I think we lucked out and got the cheaper seats cause it wasn’t a hit to the pocket book,” said Luczyk.

Many fans were frantically refreshing the Ticketmaster website at 10 a.m.

“There’s a lot of people trying to get tickets so it’s pretty impossible,” said Jen Taylor, who was unable to purchase tickets.

Tickets were available through Ticketmaster either on the phone or online. Despite that, some fans did show up at the ticket office at CenturyLink Field.

Tickets are still available through the NFL Ticket Exchange, StubHub, and Epic Seats, but they are more expensive. At last check, the cheapest seats started at $250 each.

The Better Business Bureau is advising fans to purchase tickets from legitimate businesses to avoid possibly paying for fake tickets.
