Shelton High school teacher/coach pleads guilty to sexual misconduct with student

SHELTON, Wash. -- A 31-year-old Shelton High School teacher/coach pleaded guilty Monday to sexual misconduct with one of his students.

Prosecutors say Christopher Frazier engaged in sexual relations with a 17-year-old girl and that he told her he knew what he was doing was wrong and that he'd be in big trouble if anyone found out.

His sentencing has been set for February.

The Shelton School District had called the Mason County Sheriff's Office after receiving a tip that the social studies teacher and football coach might be in a relationship with a 17-year-old girl, deputies said.

The teacher was arrested after an investigation. He posted $10,000 bail and was released from jail.
