Stevens Pass announces it will have a limited opening Saturday

STEVENS PASS, Wash. -- Stevens Pass resort announced that it will have a limited opening Saturday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.

The resort said Daisy Lift and the Rope Tow will be open with about eight terrain park features. "Keep in mind, there will be limited grooming," the resort said on its website.

Early season conditions exist, the resort said, and it's recommended that you bring only "rock” skis and boards.

"Because Mother Nature is being a bit fickle, our decision to operate will be made day-to-day until we receive more snow allowing a more reliable snowpack. We will continue to add terrain as conditions permit. Please be sure to check stevenspass.com snow report before making the trek up to visit."
