Minivan going 110 mph crashes in Lynnwood

LYNNWOOD - An Auburn woman suffered serious injuries after she crashed her minivan going 110 mph on Interstate 5 in Lynnwood early Wednesday morning. Washington State Patrol Trooper Shearer told Q13 Fox News that a trooper clocked the speeding van and tried to pull it over.

Shearer said that a trooper saw the driver take the "bus only" off ramp north near 164 St SW in Lynnwood just after 1 a.m. The trooper did not initiate a pursuit, Shearer said.

The minivan crashed on the off ramp and medics transported the woman to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with serious injuries, including broken limbs. Shearer said that woman did not appear to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
