Officers find wounded man, follow blood trail 10 blocks through Seattle

SEATTLE -- Police are trying to figure out what happened after discovering a man bleeding from his neck Thursday in the International District.

According to Seattle police, officers found the man around 5:00 p.m. in the 600 block of South King Street.

Medics rushed the 49-year-old man to Harborview Medical Center where he was treated for life-threatening injuries.

Officers also found a trail of blood that stretched nearly ten blocks to 7th Avenue South and South Jackson Street.

Detectives are still investigating the cause of his injuries. Anyone with information is asked to call 206-233-5000.
