Snohomish County search for fisherman suspended

SNOHOMISH, Wash. (AP) — The Snohomish County sheriff's office says the search for a fisherman missing in Blackmans lake near Snohomish, Washington, has been suspended for the day.

The search was to resume Tuesday.

The sheriff's office says a team used side-scan sonar, a pole camera and detection dogs in Monday's search. Murky water complicated the task.

The 38-year-old Lake Forest Park man was last seen Saturday inflating a blue raft in the parking lot. Relatives reported him missing Sunday.

The blue raft was found partially submerged Sunday when the search began.
