Average price for gallon of gas falls below $3.00, says AAA



BELLEVUE, Wash. (AP) — The AAA auto club says the average price of gasoline in Washington has fallen below $3 a gallon to $2.98.

That's down 8 cents in a week and 13 cents in a month, but it's 31 cents higher than the national average.
