Eight-foot cross stolen from Grays Harbor church

GRAYLAND, Wash. (AP) — The Grays Harbor County Sheriff's Department says someone has stolen an 8-foot wooden cross from a Presbyterian Church on State Route 105 south of Westport.

KBKW-Radio reports a church window was broken and the hardwood cross was ripped off the wall.

Lt. Matt Stowers says nothing else appears to have been stolen or vandalized, although a few Christmas trees were knocked over as the cross was dragged out of the building.
