PUYALLUP — People in Pierce County are still cleaning up from the floods caused by this week’s storm, and now there is concern about more rain on the way.

The overflowing Puyallup River nearly led to evacuation orders along Needham Road in Orting.

The river has receded but is still moving quickly and could cause problems heading into the holiday weekend.

County crews are out inspecting all of the levees to see how they are holding up after the floods.
