SEATTLE — Many of us have been on Lake Washington or visited its shores. But do you know what’s hidden beneath the surface?

Sunken at the bottom are seven plane wrecks, 400 boats and hundreds, if not thousands, of other items.

    It would be nice if they could partner up with a cleanup crew. While it’s nice to know the history of the sunken ships it would be nicer if somebody would clean up the wrecks that can impact the environment around them. We need to start taking better care of our waterways for future generations.

      Wrecks like these have almost no environmental impact. There are more important things such as the environmental impact of cars, coal trains, oil refinery’s, and gas stations. What you are proposing makes no sense and would be a waste of tax payers money. These wrecks are a part of our history.
