Seattle University student robbed at gunpoint steps from crowded campus gym
SEATTLE -- A Seattle University student was robbed at gunpoint as he was leaving the campus gym Monday night say police.
The student, a 25-year-old man, told police two men approached him in the 500 block of 14th Ave around 9:00pm. One man ordered the student to hand over his phone and wallet as the other man held a gun to his head.
Police said the student gave them his iPhone and then they ran to a white Ford Crown Victoria with pushbars and drove away.
“One suspect was described as a black male in his late teens or early 20s wearing dark gray sweat pants and a light gray hoodie,” wrote Seattle Police’s Andrew Garber on the SPD blotter. “The second suspect was a black male, around 15 years old, wearing a white shirt and red basketball shorts.”
Police are asking anyone with information to call 206.684.5561.
