10-year-old riding bike hit by car in Everett, suffers broken legs

EVERETT -- A 10-year-old boy hit by a car while riding his bike Thursday morning broke both his legs in the crash, Everett police said.

According to police, the boy was riding his bike near the intersection of 100th Street and Holly Drive in Everett when he was hit by a car. The boy suffered two broken legs and was transported to a nearby hospital.

Police said the driver of the car stopped following the crash and is cooperating with officers. The driver did not show any signs of impairment, police said.
