MUST WATCH: Fish & Wildlife worker helps free dazed bull elk caught in fence

COLUMBIA COUNTY -- A Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife worker helped a dazed and cranky bull elk dislodge his antlers from a fence.

And the employee took his own life in his hands while doing so, judging by the elk's quick charge.

According to Fish and Wildlife, Wildlife Conflict Specialist Scott Rasley helped free the bull elk from a fence in eastern Columbia County after his antlers became entangled in rope.

The elk seemed a little riled up after he was freed, and may have charged Rasley had it not been for the fence.

The bull elk was spotted by a farmer a few days after the trying tangling, Fish and Wildlife said, and he appeared to be just fine.

Lucky fellow.
