Man's body discovered at paper recycling facility in south Everett

EVERETT -- A man's body was discovered Thursday by an employee at the Fibres International paper recycling facility in south Everett, the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office said.

The employee reported the discovery of the body at around 2:30 p.m., sheriff's spokeswoman Shari Ireton said.  The body was in a bin of materials that had been picked up to be recycled, and the bin was inside the warehouse, which is in the 2600 block of 94th Street SW.

The age and identification of the man are unknown and cause and manner of death will be determined by the Medical Examiner's Office, Ireton said.

"Major Crimes detectives are conducting a death investigation, but at this time there is no evidence that the death is suspicious," Ireton said.
