Murder warrants issued in Okanogan County against 16-year-old girl and boy arrested in Oregon

OKANOGAN, Wash. -- Murder warrants have been issued against a 16-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl for the shooting death of the girl's uncle last weekend, the Okanogan County Sheriff's Office said Thursday.

The two teens are in custody in Oregon, where they were arrested Monday.

The 16-year-olds were arrested south of Eugene, Ore.,  in a stolen pickup taken from the murder scene. The Okanogan County Sheriff's Office said two firearms stolen from the victim's residence was also found with the teenagers.

On Sunday, Oct. 5,  Okanogan County deputies found the body of 39-year-old Patrick Alltus -- the girl's uncle -- in his residence at 151 Hosheit Road in Riverside.

The sheriff's office said Alltus died as a result of being shot "several times."

The sheriff's office said Thursday that warrants have been issued against the two teens for first-degree aggravated murder, first-degree robbery, theft of a motor vehicle, theft of a firearm (2 Counts), unlawful possession of a firearm-juvenile in possession of a firearm, (2 Counts).

Both warrants have a $1 million bail on them, the sheriff's office said.
