Russell Wilson gets BIG honor after jaw-dropping performance Monday

SEATTLE -- Turns out, carrying a team on your back as they work through a penalty riddled game is enough to earn you some recognition.

Russell Wilson was named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week by the NFL Tuesday, following the Seahawks 27-17 win over Washington.

Wilson went 18-for-24 with 201 yards passing and two touchdowns. He also ran for 122 yards on 11 carries and scored a rushing touchdown against Washington, setting the Monday Night Football record for most rushing yards from a quarterback.

This is the third time Wilson has been named the player of the week in his career.

Wilson and the Seahawks will face the Dallas Cowboys at 1 p.m. Sunday at CenturyLink Field. That game will be broadcast on Q13 FOX.
