U.S. agents ordered to airports, will take temp of passengers arriving from countries in Ebola zone

WASHINGTON -- Airports in the United States will begin taking the temperatures of arriving passengers who have flight itineraries originating from West African countries where Ebola is concentrated, according to an official with direct knowledge of the screenings.

The screenings will begin this weekend or next week, the source said.

Other news outlets reported agents would be ordered to entry points to observe possible Ebola signs.

According to the Associated Press, the Homeland Security Department has ordered Customs and Border Protection agents to also hand out factsheets to travelers as to what symptoms to look for.
