LAS VEGAS — A U.S. Army veteran served for six years before an honorable discharge. Alan McCracken is now homeless, but something amazing just happened to him.

Magician Rob Anderson posted a YouTube video saying he’d heard about a “nice guy” who wanted to see people smile — even if they didn’t give him any money.

So Anderson came up with a plan to put that to the test.

Rob Anderson, that was arrogant and narcissistic. You make sure the guy will take abuse and then throw some money at him? The whole scene made me cringe. Just hand him the money and don’t make him grovel first. Shame on you.

The guy enjoyed it. He laughed and smiled. Just handing him the money wouldn’t have been fun for either of them. Now the man has a story to tell and reason to smile even bigger. The man not getting upset showed strength that most ppl don’t have. He stayed positive no matter what was going on… Hes a true blessing of a man and an example of how ppl should choose to respond to most struggles in life. One day he will truly be blessed.
