4 'party crashers' arrested after forcing their way into U-District home

SEATTLE -- Police arrested four people who allegedly forced their way into a party at a University District home.

According to Seattle police, officers responded to a shots fired call just after midnight Saturday on the 4500 block of 21st Ave. NE.

Witnesses told officers four people tried to crash the party, but they initially managed to keep them out of the home. The witnesses said three of the suspects later made their way into the home, but they were able to force them out.

Police said one of the intruders shot several rounds into the air. When the suspect's gun jammed, all four of them jumped into a car and drove off.

Officers found the suspect's car a short time later in front of a club at 8th Ave. NE and NE 45th St.

Police impounded the vehicle and booked all four suspects into King County Jail for investigation of burglary.
