PHOENIX, Arizona (KTVK) — Kittens that were cared for by a Phoenix Arizona police officer after being found in a abandoned in a dumpster are ready for adoption.

Five newborn kittens were found discarded in a dumpster on July 27.

Officer Heather Krimm, who was one of the responding officers, has nurtured and cared for the kittens and now they are happy, thriving and looking for new homes.

“I want to keep them all, every one of them, but we can’t … well, maybe just one!” Krimm said.

Four of “Krimm’s Kitties” will be available for adoption at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the Arizona Humane Society’s Sunnyslope Campus, 9226 N. 13th Ave.

If multiple adopters are interested in the kittens, AHS will hold a drawing at 11:30 a.m. Prospective adopters are encouraged to arrive early to spend time with the kittens.

The adoption fee is $75 per kitten, which includes spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations and a free follow-up vet exam.
