Above: Your eyes are not deceiving you. That is ONE dish at 'Marcia's Silver Spoon Cafe'! Watch the video above, or the two below, for more!

TACOMA -- South Tacoma Way is a busy street in an industrial part of town, but if you ask the regulars at Marcia's Silver Spoon Cafe, they'll tell you this is a place with a lot of warmth.

We came in to try Marcia's based on stellar Yelp reviews; we wanted a good place to come to kickoff "Breakfast With Kaci", a regular feature where we come spend the morning at different breakfast spots all over the Pacific Northwest. Our goal is to feature small local businesses where the clientele is just as much a part of the restaurant as the food itself!

From the 3 pounds of hash browns that serve as just the FOUNDATION of it, to the eggs, cheese, peppers, and homemade gravy, the Silver Spoon Scramble is a must-try. Just be sure to bring several friends to help you finish it- it's HUGE! I even grabbed a forkful of pumpkin pancakes off a diner's plate (she said it was ok, I promise!) and oh, man, are those good too!

The customers we spoke to here say the restaurant may be family-owned, but they also make all of their customers feel like they're a part of that family. They also told us the food is just top-notch; fresh ingredients, and always consistent. One couple drives up once a week from Lacey!
