Mother with cancer gets final dance at son's wedding -- just 3 days before she dies

DUBLIN, Calif. -- A mother with cancer was granted her final wish just three days before her she died -- she got to dance with her son at his wedding.

KTVU-TV reported that Mary Ann Manning was terribly sick with breast cancer, but she held on until her son’s wedding.

While there, she managed to gather enough strength to dance with her son one last time.

Just a few months before the big day, Mary Ann was in a wheelchair and was very weak. Even the days leading up to the wedding, she needed help making it around.

They danced to the song “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.”

Three days later, Mary Ann passed away.

Her daughter, Kristie, posted " target="_blank">video of the last dance to YouTube.

Mary Ann Manning lost her battle with breast cancer just 3 days after this dance. She held on with all her might to give her son this last gift. It’s really the epitome of a mother’s love. She now joins her other baby boy, who passed 4 years ago, in heaven,” she said.
