Man killed in Seattle gunfight; suspect on the loose
SEATTLE -- Police said they found a 24-year-old man dead early Saturday morning in the Denny Triangle.
Officers in the area heard "numerous" gunshots around 3:30 a.m. They rushed to the 1900 block of Minor Avenue where they found an armed man who had been shot several times. He died at the scene.
Other officers saw a car initially thought to be involved fleeing the scene. They questioned the driver as a possible witness.
Police are also investigating an incident in a parking lot near the scene where someone was attacked by a group. That person was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
