KIRKLAND — A man in his 40s who was struck by a car while in a crosswalk in Kirkland Monday has died of his injuries, the King County Medical Examiner’s Office said Tuesday.

According to the Kirkland Police Department, the man was crossing 119th Place NE from west to east around 3:30 p.m. Monday when he was struck by a Toyota Prius driven by a woman in her 50s. The vehicle hit the man, and he suffered severe head trauma.
